Burgers & Beer… & The Blues – Wednesday, May 8^th, 6-10pm

That’s Right! Those who were with us last week, really enjoyed the beers from Golden Road Brewing so we are going to do it again… Join us for this great tasting event as we taste out six new beers to our line up, grab a burger and talk trash! Along with the beers, you get a chance to build your own burger with all the fix’ins, two salads and chips… and your cost for six tastes and a burger is only $15! And we’ll have live blues too.

Golden Road Brewing was founded in 2011 by Tony Yanow (of local beer-focused restaurants Tony’s Darts Away and Mohawk Bend) and Meg Gill (formerly of Oskar Blues Brewery and Speakeasy Ales & Lagers). Before opening Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank, Tony consulted with Meg on picking top craft breweries in California for his ambitious state-wide beer list. They immediately realized they shared a vision around building a brewery to deliver fresh beer to locals. While tasting beers at Zeitgeist in San Francisco one night, they found they had similarities in their palates, play lists, and philosophy of life as a destination-driven adventure. That’s when the vision for Golden Road brewing was born.

For Tony and Meg, it was a no-brainer from the beginning. Choosing to deliver an honest pint with 16-ounce cans reflects the brewery’s eco-friendly approach to building a local business in Los Angeles. Compared to traditional bottles, canning makes sense: it’s better for the beer, better for the environment, and better for taking beer places where glass just can’t go.

Lets Play Bunco Wednesday, May 1^st, 7pm – Bunco has been around for a long, long time. It has been played in America at least since the 1800′s, no real skill is required other than rolling the dice. However, the game is played in upbeat and social settings involving a lot of eating, drinking, and talking, so there is always plenty to do! It’s meant to be a dice game that provides a great reason for a group of people to gather and socialize. Arrive by 7pm, first bell at 7:15pm. Sip, savor and enjoy.

“The News part: Wow – great response !! We have been informed that, Victoria will soon be named by the Tribune as the Readers Choice Best Attorney in the San Gabriel Valley !
