Burgers & Beer… & The Blues – Wednesday, May 8th, 6-10pm That’s Right! Those who were with us last week, really enjoyed the beers from Golden Road Brewing so we are going to do it again… Join us for this great tasting event as we taste out six new beers to our line up, grab a burger and talk trash! 
Along with the beers, you get a chance to build your own burger with all the fix’ins, two salads and chips… and your cost for six tastes and a burger is only $15! And we’ll have live blues too.
Golden Road Brewing was founded in 2011 by Tony Yanow (of local beer-focused restaurants Tony’s Darts Away and Mohawk Bend) and Meg Gill (formerly of Oskar Blues Brewery and Speakeasy Ales & Lagers). Before opening Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank, Tony consulted with Meg on picking top craft breweries in California for his ambitious state-wide beer list. They immediately realized they shared a vision around building a brewery to deliver fresh beer to locals. While tasting beers at Zeitgeist in San Francisco one night, they found they had similarities in their palates, play lists, and philosophy of life as a destination-driven adventure. That’s when the vision for Golden Road brewing was born.
For Tony and Meg, it was a no-brainer from the beginning. Choosing to deliver an honest pint with 16-ounce cans reflects the brewery’s eco-friendly approach to building a local business in Los Angeles. Compared to traditional bottles, canning makes sense: it’s better for the beer, better for the environment, and better for taking beer places where glass just can’t go.
Flight Night Tasting – Thur, May 9th, 6-10pm Join us for this great tasting event! We’ll be showcasing some great wines, highlighting different wineries, vineyards and varietals. You’ll taste five great wines, get a chance to talk with our staff and get an early start on the weekend! This week we’ll be tasting a Sauvignon Blanc, a Carneros Chardonnay Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir and a Cabernet from Napa. Come early, stay late and enjoy another glass of wine, once you decide which one you like the most! We look forward to seeing you.
The 4orce – Fri, May 10th, 8-11pm Join us as the 4orce brings the house alive with the best in West Coast Jazz, this group mixes it up with jazz guitar, upright bass and a little horn thrown in for good measure. Join us for a great night of music, fine wine and cold beer. The patio is open, so bring a friend and enjoy a cigar by the fireplace as the night comes to an end.
Z-Man Blues Band – Saturday, May 11th, 8-11pm Join us as the Z-Man Blues Band rocks the house with soulful blues and early rock ‘n roll, reminding us of a time long past, but fondly remembered. Be there as Memphis Hall of Fame bluesman Zollie Polk along with friends, Johnny Castillo and Andy Denerson bring it home one more time. Enjoy your favorite glass of wine or a cold beer served in a frosty glass. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
